Tide Pool Exploration - Kristy Nash
Travel to one of Port Macquarie's beautiful rocky shores during a daytime low tide. Here it is possible to learn the basics of tides and the stresses on intertidal life. There will be time to explore the intertidal zone and look at different specimens. At the end of the exploration participants will be brought together to identify and discuss the specimens found. An emphasis is placed on adaptations for intertidal living and conservation.
