This class will provide you with the necessary information regarding the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. It is for people who are not already in the Vocational Education field and are or maybe required to deliver training programs in their workplace or who may want to deliver and assess courses for a Registered Training Organisation. Gather the information to decide whether you need all or just part of the qualification; general understanding of the Training and Assessment course and its benefits. Fmiliarise yourself with basic training/assessing terminology and learn navigating techniques to access websites relevant to the Vocational Education and Training sector.

This course covers the National Training System, the Australian Quality Framework (AQF), reading and interpreting Training Packages and the skills required to unpack a unit of competency. These units are a must for anyone currently working or planning to work in a training and assessment vocation or environment. There are a number of hours of home study required to complete the course. A high level of language and literacy is required as you will need to be able to read and interpret documents and contribute to high level documentation. Intermediate computer skills are required for the research component and we recommend that participants can communicate effectively in written and spoken English to benefit from this course. The full Certificate consists of 12 core units and 2 elective units delivered in 4 clusters. Payment options available.
