This course is designed to help people from non-English speaking countries to get the skills they require to get work or do other training courses. It includes completion of accredited modules from the Certificate in Spoken and Written English. Free for AMES students. Fee for Non-residents is $100.

Written Communication at night
This course is designed for people who are working in the day but require extra reading, writing and oral communication skills for their job or career path. Students also work towards completing units from the Certificate of General Education for Adults. Students can also get extra help with any of the VET courses they are doing at the College.

Reading and Writing Skills for Employment and Further Training
This course provides individualised assistance to help you reach your employment and training goals, mainly assisting students to their get RSA, RCG, Food Hygiene and Safety, Aged Care certificates and basic computer courses. Students also work towards completing units from the Certificate of General Education for Adults.
